My new Wall

I am experiencing a lot of personal issues within and believe that because of that, I am taking things too personally on Facebook.  I read no one's post unless they are real friends or family.  Rarely do I post to the public.

Seems like it is hard to find anything that can be talked about without being personally criticized. So that being said, I suppose I can't talk about Christianity, Atheism, Lesbian and Gays, Heterosexual, Sex in general, Obama, Bush, NRA, 1st and 2nd Amendment of the Constitution in general. From here out I will only post pictures of babies and food and cute sayings from other websites that are absolutely impossible to offend anyone and mindless. No more thinking, either in or out of the box on Facebook. maybe I will go back to Farmville..

If I feel like I need to talk to someone or blow off some steam, I will do it on my own personal blog, which the book of faces should be, as the only people that read it are friends and family. (What is the difference?)

Or maybe I will just pretend to be happy all the time or go hide somewhere that is peaceful and quiet.

I was supposed to go to Scottsdale, Az. for Laser Spine Surgery, and get my life back this summer, but my insurance changed the 1st part of July and everything fell through. Now, I have to find some kind of neurosurgeon that I feel comfortable with cutting into my spine and the base of my brain. (Like that's going to happen). So I decided to start with the knees today instead. The Orthopedic guy said I probably waited too long for surgery and wants to try Cortisone. So I had my 1st injection this afternoon. Yea, my knee has been throbbing for so long and so much, that I didn't even feel it.

If nothing else a little Facebook bantering provides me with a lot of new information that I never knew about.

I pose this question to 2 of my friends and received several answers.  Oh, how I wish I had the answers so I wouldn't have to ask them.

Ted St MartinMichael Griggs, help me out on this one.
I am not Jewish, but one thing that has stumped me for years is that if Jesus was a Jew and Christians worship Jesus, why aren't all Christians Jewish.

Here are the answers I received.

Mike, it is my understanding of the Jewish faith that they do NOT believe that Jesus is the Son of God.. that the Messiah is yet to come. Don't quote me on this, however, because like you, I'm Christian

It may have evolved out of the Ottoman Empire, where Christians had to deal with a bunch of Crazy Assed Muslims who like to chop off Body Parts. We all have a Mission in Life, and if you saw a bunch of sword-wielding Lunatics and knew they were going to murder you, maybe going out on your own Terms would be Preferable.

If it makes you feel any better, we are approaching the High Holidays, which is a time for Reflection. I recently had some Information revealed to me that sent the Flood Gates open, and I've been trying to figure out who, out of four Family Members-two now Deceased) I am and or should be sincerely Angry with. And whether I should re-open the Topic now that it is Ex Post Facto.

If it is personal, then you should probably decide on whether or not to reopen a can of worms.

Which is a cross between Annunaki and the Descendants who had evolved from earlier people who were here.

Right... this is Referenced in the Hebrew Texts.

Anyway, it's a lot of reading. What you find on the Internet is very Informative, but reading the actual Books gives a more Specific Outlook.

And after considering it, ask yourself this Question- The Jews have always been identified as "the Chosen People." So, what, exactly, were they Chosen for?

And I have an article I have to finish, so I'm Gone for a couple hours. No Worries about Michael Griggs. It's not like I know him or would ever run into him...

Only in the extent that we are all Son's of G-d. He is considered a Rabbi and no more. (No one Denies his existence...

  • Ted St Martin Mike you should keep going. It's your right. But remember it's also their right to respond. If you step on a battlefield and throw bullets you're going to get some back your way You can't take it personal. Criticize and you will get criticism. That's the rules of the game.

    • Ted St Martin Mike that's a lot of early history thatwould be better explainedin a phone call not facebook. Needless to say followers of Jesus after his death were considered a Jewish sects for a long long time. They had to follow the requirment to be Jewish cercomsisen etc. There were many many varieties of Jesus followers with many different beliefs. Ebinightes (not sure of spelling) were the major jewish followers. They did not believe that Jesus was God. That came much later. If they thought Jesus was God they would have never been consitered a Jewish sect. Christianity came a lot later when none Jews joined the Jesus movement and declaired. Jesus as God. The two then split. This is a quick overview with a lot left out. I hope it helps my friend.

    • Michael Griggs Jesus said I did not come to destroy the law but to fullfill the law...the Judaic system was based on the law . Resulting...Jesus said...a new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another as I have loved you. The Jews would not accept new revelation...therefore there had to be a separation. Remember that after Peter was born again and filled with the. Holy Spirit after Pentecost he had the vision of the bed sheet let down and God told him to eat of the animals that were there ...he argued with God based on Judaic law, but Jesus won that argument.peter got free from dietary laws and understood that the Gospel was supposed to be preached to the Gentiles. Also remember scripture says the letter without The spirit is dead being void...the Jews used their minds only without letting the greater mind of the Holy Spirit talk to them...since their form of religion was dead or void there had to be a fresh start, paralleling Jesus being called by the scripture the new Adam. Friend...it had to happen...I love going to synagogue...but their eyes are still blind, they are argumentative without cause , and they are obsessively legalistic. I hate to say that, for i have friends that are Jewish I love dearly. I speak without prejudice, I assess for your benefits honestly.you are still one of my heroes...Mike

    • Brenda Holloway Jesus came to his people the Jews but they did not believe he was the Messiah. Jesus then turned to the Gentiles (us lol) thank the good lord, then we accepted him as Savior. But one thing for sure, I will not ever harm a Jewish person, I honor them because Christ is Jewish.
